Introduction Post! The Nostalgic Card Collector

Hello everyone! This is going to be my newly created blog to post about the trading card industry and my personal collecting, as well as general sports blogs (maybe start another blog for that). I am user mjkcards on TCDB! Trading Card Database is my favorite site to use by far as a resource and collection tracker! I, like many others, have collected cards on and off through the years.

 As a kid I collected until the early 2000's, and got out if it for many years through high school, college, and early adult life. Currently I am 34 years old, and started collecting and opening cards again, also like many, during the pandemic. I have really been having a lot of fun collecting even though I will admit I collect alot and finding a focus has been tough. I am primarily a team collector. 

 New England Patriots, Dallas Cowboys (some), Notre Dame, Boston College, Umass, Uconn, Ohio State, Michigan, Florida, Boston Red Sox, New York Mets, Montreal Expos/Some Nationals, Atlanta Braves, Oaklnad A's,Boston Bruins, Hartford Whalers, Boston Celtics, Chelsea FC, Paris St-Germain, and France National Team! I also player collect some others here or there, mostly players I grew up with I am also a huge Pokemon/Other TCG collector (final fantasy, marvel, ect)
